Evento Cultural en Cancun
Del 5 al 14 de diciembre 2008 se llevarà a cabo la primera ediciòn de la exposicion WORLD ART VISION en el Cancun Center.
Màs de 100 artistas de 5 continentes presentaràn ante el pùblico de Cancun, coleccionistas y crìticos sus obras de pintura, dibujo, escultura, fotografìa, grabado, instalaciòn, performance, video y arte digital.
La Directora artìstica de WORLD ART VISION, Matty Roca, Crìtica mexicana e Historiadora de Arte y Miembro del AICA, firmemente apoyada por el Ayuntamiento Benito Juàrez de Cancùn y el Estado de Quintana Roo, ha ideado un proyecto muy interesante y atractivo para los amantes del arte y para el turismo, que al mismo tiempo favorecerà el conocimiento del desarrollo del Arte Contemporàneo en el mundo.
Deseamos sinceramente que WORLD ART VISION se convierta, no sòlo en uno de los eventos culturales y sociales màs importantes del momento, sino en la exposiciòn de Arte màs importante de América Latina. Estamos seguros que con el apoyo y ayuda de compañìas, negocios y organizaciones locales de Cancùn, WORLD ART VISION alcanzarà el mejor de los éxitos.
On 5-14 December 2008, we will be hosting our first WORLD ART VISION exposition at the Cancun Center. Over 100 artists from 5 continents will present their finest painting, drawing, sculpture, photograph, prints, installation, performance, video and digital art to a public comprised of Cancun visitors, collectors and critics.
The artistic director of WORLD ART VISION, Matty Roca, Mexican art critic, art historian and member of AICA, has been warmly encouraged and supported by Ayuntamento Benito Juarez Cancun and the State of Quintana Roo to conceive such a project that encourages art lovers and tourists alike to discover new developments in contemporary art.
It is our sincerest hope that WORLD ART VISION will become not only one of the most important cultural and social highlights of the Americas, but also the most important art exhibition of the "new world". With the fundamental support of local businesses and organizations in Cancun, WORLD ART VISION will be able to reach its highest potential for success.
